The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Thursday, January 9 reveals Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will confront Ian Ward (Ray Wise) at the motel.
Also coming up, Damian King (Nathan Owens) will consider Nate Hastings’ (Sean Dominic) job offer. Plus, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) wants Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) to acquire proof. And Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will once again hallucinate Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby).
Y&R spoilers tease Damian will wonder why Nate came all the way out from Wisconsin to offer him a job, when he already has one. “There’s got to be more to this.” Nate will say he’s right, there is. He’ll say there was something about Damian’s restlessness that interested him.
Nate will admit he was the same way, he even used to be a doctor. “What turned things around for me was my family,” Nate will add. Then he’ll bring up the Count of Monte Cristo and found out he moves almost as much as he changes jobs. So, he’ll ask which way Damian is leaning. But he’ll say the whole thing has come out of left field and he needs to think it over.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Michael Learns Ian Is Out Of The Slammer
After Damian leaves, Amy Lewis (Valarie Pettiford) and Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) will show up. Nate will tell them Damian didn’t bite and he’s not sure he ever will. So, Audra will suggest that next time he meets with his half-brother, he tell him the truth.
Meanwhile, Nick will tell Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) he’s going to keep searching for Sharon. And he wants to know what the cops have found. Chance will say they dragged the river for hours. “There was no sign of Sharon anywhere, dead or alive.
At the ranch, Michael will be shocked to hear that Ian’s been released from prison, as an ordained minister no less. “That man plays for the devil,” Victor will say. “And I’m afraid his game has already turned deadly.” Michael will ask if it’s possible Ian is on the level and Victor will say not a chance.
“You have to find the proof, it’s out there,” The Mustache will tell him. “I am telling you, Ian Ward is a fraud.” Victor will add they also have to get rid of him. Michael will ask what he means. “You know what I mean,” Victor will reply.
Then Nick and Chance will show up and he’ll be disappointed when Victor says they have no news about Sharon. But Nick will say Ian knows where she is. “I’m tired of all the talking, I’m going to do something about it.” And he’ll storm off.
At their motel, Ian will be frustrated there’s no news about Sharon yet. So, he’ll ask Jordan (Colleen Zenk) if she took care of everything he asked her to. “Where’s the proof Jordan, where is it?” She’ll tell him she doesn’t think he appreciates all she’s done for him.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Sharon Hopes He’ll Figure It Out
“You’ve gotta relax, we’re in the clear,” she’ll add. “Sharon’s not going to bother us anymore.” So, she’ll ask when they’re going to focus on her agenda. “My needs have not been attended to at all, and I’m starting to think they never will be.”
Suddenly, Nick will pound on the door. Jordan will panic, realizing she can’t be seen there and she’ll hide in the bathroom. Nick will demand to know where Sharon is. “I’m sorry if something happened to poor Sharon,” Ian will reply. “But concerning her disappearance, I have the best possible alibi – you.”
Ian will add that he sincerely hopes nothing bad has happened to Sharon. “I will pray for her.” Nick will say he’d better pray nothing’s happened to Sharon. “Because if it has, I’m gonna tear you apart.” Jordan will listen in, looking frightened.
Finally, in the sewer, Sharon will continue to cry out for help. Then she’ll have a vision of Cameron. “Hi baby, you miss me?” he’ll ask. He’ll ask Sharon what happened to her. “Someone doused me with chloroform and the next thing I knew, I was chained to a pipe,” she’ll reply.
She’ll worry, and tell him she’s running out of food and water. But Cameron will say she can survive this. They’ll discuss Heather Stevens’ (Vail Bloom) death and Cameron will suggest she was just incidental. “I think she could have been anybody,” he’ll say. “Whoever killed her wanted you to go down for murder.”
Sharon will wonder what her family thinks happened to her. After what she’s put them through, she wouldn’t blame them for thinking the worst. “Except for Nick, he believed in my innocence,” Sharon will add. “Will he figure this out?” Cameron will say she better hope so.
